Cannabis legalization

1. What was the debate about
The debate was about legalizing cannabis in New Zealand
2. What are the key questions
How would the government lay out cannabis laws and regulations?
When will they actually do the referendum
Have they thought about giving information on cannabis for uneducated people?
3. What did you learn
I thought the government had a layout to the rules and regulations of cannabis but they actually don't currently.
4. What are your thoughts on what you have heard
I think They should make cannabis legal for recreational use as they were saying in the last video. They must have a lot of rules and regulations about it otherwise there be an issue of law-breaking and abuse again.
5. Is there any other questions that you would like answered
Who will they end up letting grow and sell cannabis
What will be the laws of consumption
How will they go about people getting addicted, what rules will they put in place to stop addiction

Body safe reflection

Body safe reflection

In body safe, we learned about safe sex and how to properly consent. body safe was run by Eliza, mimu Lloyd elasie and laura they came into our class every Monday and Tuesday for the whole leson (50 mins) It was good how we learned about how to consent becasue alot of people actually don't know how to consent properly and fully. If someone asked me about body safe I would say that It is a fun way to learn with young people like us about how to consent.

1. zoning out- is when we can go to the back of the books we were given and draw and kind of "zone out" of the lesson if we felt uncomfortable or upset
2. enthusiastic yes-  an enthusiastic yes is when you consent and say yes very enthusiastically because you want to have sex. so you say yes very enthusiastically
3. ground rules-
one person talking at a time to be respectful
respectful comments only
you can zone out if you are finding it difficult
check with your teacher for other options to this class
have a chat with us after class for info
remember everyone has the right to positive and respectful sexual experiences
(copied from the book)

4. 4 steps to consent-
ask. ask  if the person wants to have sex and make sure it is respectful and sounds respectful
listen. listen- to the person's answer and if they say yes make sure it's enthusiastic yes. if it's no
respect- respect their answer. if they don't want to then be respectful about there answer don't get mad at them
reflect- reflecting on what happened with the person, seeing if you both liked and enjoyed about it and what you can do next time to improve

Net sports: volley skills/strategies

I think I engage in sport more, I know some skills for volleyball doesn't mean I'm good at them but I try.

Attacking strategies
  • Hitting the ball where there are no people so it hits the ground
  • keep hitting over there side constantly
  1. If  the opposing team leaves holes with no people in them try hit the Ball in the holes as best as you can
  2. If your team keeps hitting over with out stop constantly really fast the opposing team might get tried and miss hitting it back
Defending strategies
  • defending the space where the ball could fall on the ground
  1. Do this so they don't end up getting a point. keep moving and keep your eye on the ball

Hello everyone ^.^
Today I will be sharing my  latest pe learning with you
We did gymnastics for about 3 weeks. The equipment we used was
Volt
trampoline
Beam
yoga type mats
and a mini trampoline

On each, we learned how to do different skills
On the volts, we learned to forward and backward flips. We also learned how to do forward and backward flips on the mini trampoline, the normal trampoline, and the mats.
On the beam, we did cartwheels, handstands and just walked across without falling.
On the mats, we also did handstands cartwheels. (:
